Ready to launch ...

I'm nearly there. It's been a time of intense learning, thinking, and digging into what matters. And more than ever I am absolutely convinced ... he tangata, he tangata, he tangata ... it is the people, the people, the people.

I love this image. Each individual piece of the fabric is uniquely sized, coloured and located to form its perfect place in the whole. There's a mission, a task, a direction ... not fully under control, subject to the elements, but purposeful, intentional, and exhilarating. Each individual in a family, team or community is much the same. We can't all be the same, and if we're not the best version of ourselves, we're simply not going to be living our best life, having the biggest impact, or enjoying things to the max.

My #3 Signature Theme is Developer. It's the one that itched the most while I was running my retail store, usually alone. The formal CliftonStrengths* description is: "People exceptionally talented in the Developer theme recognize and cultivate the potential in others. They spot the signs of each small improvement and derive satisfaction from evidence of progress."
